Beekeepers Association Kolašin has around 30 members. However, as they say, many other locals earn solid money from beekeeping. That increasingly popular branch of agriculture is attractive to the youth, and abundance in flora found in Kolašin makes it a heaven for bee colonies.
Although there are many beekeepers whose work would earn them a title of successful beekeeper, among the most distinguished are Bogoljub Bogi Bulatović, Velibor Šćepanović, Radojica Tapušković, Ivan Rakočević, Božidar Vuković, Milija Vujisić, Miličko Bulatović, Momir Šubara, Radoje Čobeljić… Beekeepers with 20 and more bee colonies.
