Layered cheese is a specific type of home-made cheese that is produces only on the territory of the municipality of Kolašin. S they are preparing national dishes of the Kolašin region. The co-worker Ivan Ivanovic based his master’s work on the production of collage leafy cheese. Through a lot fieldwork and research in a few dozen collages of households, he described unique traditional technology, analyzed chemical and microbiological quality of cheese and milk from which is produced.
