The landscape close to the village of Dolovi near the border between Bosnia and Montenegro.

This tour starts at Vranjak Katun (katun is a small mountain village made of huts inhabited by shepherds in the summer), and ends at Lake Biograd. This is a long distance tour going through the heart of Bjelasica Mountain, and it is more suitable for cycling or off-road jeep, than walking. However, it depends on your preference, therefore it could be a hiking tour for people who do not like steep mountain edges, and like to enjoy views of vast mountain pastures with abundance of flora. Also, you can visit numerous katuns, many of which host tourists, and at which you can try homemade dishes, or even spend the night in mountain cottages.
