Lanište Katun (katun is a small mountain village made of huts inhabited by shepherds in the summer) is located at the passage, on the border with Biogradska Gora. Mountain hiking path passes through this katun (Lake Biograd-Laništa–Bjelojevići–Mojkovac). In spring, does take out their newborn fawns to pasture under upper border of the forest above this katun. That is why shepherds called this katun Lanište (lane is Montenegrin word for fawn).
