This route could be called “Up Bjelasica Mountain to Goleš”. Goleš is a beautiful katun (katun is a small mountain village made of huts inhabited by shepherds in the summer) on the border with Biogradska Gora National Park, where you will find extraordinary hosts. In this katun, you can spend the night (there are two eco villages), and a meal you will be offered will be a homemade food from this region. You can also see how famous layered cheese is made, as well as take part in your host’s chores.

The path to Goleš takes up from the town center in Kolašin (Trg Boraca), over Bašanje Brdo, through the deep peace of beech forest, passing by a katun where the locals go to pick up blueberries and tea, up to some amazing viewpoints. At first, you will see Ključ, and other Bjelasica tops, and when you pass Klačine Village, as a reward, there will be a view of Kolašin, Komovi, Vučje, and Maglić. At well-paved macadam path you are more likely to cross paths with an animal than with a vehicle. At the mere ending of the path to Goleš, you need to go both downhill and uphill, but after a short break in this katun, you will forget about experiencing any exertion.
