“Bjelasica Ultra Trail” is a sports event (mountain marathon) which is intended for professional and recreational trail runners, but also for nature lovers. The organizers have prepared three races that pass through one of the most beautiful areas in the Balkans. Trail running is a sport-activity which combines running, and, where there are steep gradients, hiking, that is run “on any unpaved surface”
By participating in the trail, competitors will have the opportunity to run through one of the three remaining rainforests in Europe, to admire the beauty of mountain lakes, but also to take a break in one of the traditional Bjelasica katuns.
