Many consider Jablanov Peak to be the highest peak on Sinjavina 2,203 m. If we categorize Torna 2,277 m and Gradita-Vranova Glava 2,215 m as peaks of Sinjavina, then Jablanov Peak is actually the third highest.

The access road from the center of Kolasin to the trail beginning is 16.3 km long. After about 2 km on the main road Kolasin-Mojkovac-Bijelo Polje, you will reach an intersection in Bakovici village, where you turn left onto a paved local road leading toward the village of Lipovo.

The trail begins at a sharp left bend on the Lipovo -Vratlo road. Before reaching Vratlo mountain pass 1,737 m, the trail partially follows shortcuts along an old shepherds path. From Vratlo mountain pass, the trail follows a macadam road for about 3 km toward the Grkovo locality. Approximately 400 m from Vratlo mountain pass, you will encounter an intersection where you should turn right toward Grkovo Jablanov Peak, while the left road continues toward the Jecmen do katun. As you follow the path to the right of the depression known as Smrdan. Grkovo is a plateau between the peaks Mali Starac on the left and Jablanov Peak on the right.

From the macadam road before the Grkovo katun, which further extends in the direction of the north Ruica the dirt road branches off to the right toward the artificial Grkovo reservoir. The trail passes by friable huts, crosses a small rise, and leads to Grkovo lake. It continues along the left bank of the reservoir and traverses a wide plateau toward the slopes of Jablanov Peak. You can keep moving through clearer terrain toward the mountain pass. Theres no need to reach the mountain pass instead, at a suitable moment, turn right toward the south and head toward the peak. Youll reach the first peak and then easily continue along a grassy slope to the summit.

The peak has rocky and grassy terrain, is spacious and safe. There are remains of a stone chapel that was intended as a tomb for a local resident. Using a motor vehicle, you can reach the accumulation Grkovo, 1,780 m, which makes the ascent to Jablanov Peak much easier. This way, you can shorten the trail by about 6.6 km and reduce the elevation gain by about 440 m.
