Kolašin–Sinjavina

Trail length: 21 km

Beginning of the trail: Trg boraca, 942 m above sea level.

Destination: Ječmen Do katun on Sinjajevina 1,600 meters above sea level (possibility to continue further depending on physical fitness).

Elevation difference: 658 m

Time required: 2 hours

The start of this cycling tour is Trg boraca. From the very center, the road leads towards the exit from the city along Mojkovačka Street. The movement continues over the bridge and the Tara River. The main road leads to the right, which is followed for only 700 m and then branches off to the left - along a narrow but very beautiful asphalt road through the settlement of Drijenak. Passing through the settlement, the road continues towards the village of Blatina. On this section of the road, the terrain is diverse, very interesting, but safety must be taken into account because the road is narrow and not well-marked. As the road continues, we come out onto a short section of macadam road that connects us to the main asphalt road that leads through Lipovska Bistrica, Gornje Lipovo and Sinjavina, which is the final destination.
After beautiful countryside and asphalt roads, we are greeted by a gravel road and a climb that leads over the Vratlo pass. The road is in good condition and requires a lot of fitness as well as adequate equipment, i.e. an MTB bike. The climb ends at the Vratlo pass itself. From the Ječmen Do katun, which opens on the left (after emerging onto the mountain surface), the roads branch off and lead in many directions, so there is a choice of whether to continue the tour or return to Kolašin.

Kolašin–Goleš

Trail length: 19.4 km

Beginning of the trail: Trg boraca, 942 m above sea level.

Objective: Eko katun Goleš, 1,673 masl.

Elevation difference: 731 m

Time required: 2 hours

The path to Goleš leads from the city center, over Bašanje brdo, through the deep peace of the beech forests, past the katun where the locals go to harvest blueberries and teas, to fantastic viewpoints. First you will see Ključ on the right and other peaks of Bjelasica, and when you pass the village of Klačine, you will be rewarded with a view of Kolašin, Komove, Vučje and Maglić. On a well-trodden macadam road, the possibility of meeting an animal is greater than a vehicle. At the very end of the path to Goleš, there is a nice descent and a steep ascent, but after a short break in the katun, all effort is forgotten.

Goleš is a katun in Bjelasica bordering Biogradska gora NP, where you will be welcomed by exceptional hosts. You can spend the night in katun (there are two eco villages), and the meal they will offer you will be exclusively local food of this climate. You can see how the famous sheet cheese is made, and you can participate in activities with the hosts.

Komovi–Bjelasica

Trail length: 22 km

Beginning of the trail: Tršnjevik, 1,568 m above sea level.

Destination: Ski center 1,450 m

Time required: 3 hours

This cycling tour starts from the village of Trešnjevik. From Trešnjevik, we continue towards Mount Lisi to the eco-village Krivi Do. Lisa and Lumer are the highest peaks of the hills that stretch south-north between Komovo and Bjelasica. Along their entire length, there is a solid macadam road that passes at their base.

We continue on through the Klisura katun and arrive at the Vranjak eco-katun (1,800 m), located on Bjelasica. From Vranjak we descend to the Kolašin ski center (1,450 m), where the tour ends.

Bjelasica

Trail length: 16 km.

The beginning of the trail: Source of the Biograd river, about 1,800 meters above sea level.

Goal: Lake Biograd, 1,094 m

Time required: 3 hours

This cycling tour is one of the more beautiful in the surroundings of Kolašin.

It starts from the source of the Biogradska River at the foot of Troglava, which means that you need to organize transportation to the starting point as well as from Biogradsko Lake, where the tour ends, to Kolašin.

The path from the source continues below the peaks: Troglava, Zekova glava and Crna glava (altitudes over 2,000 m). Continue by bike to the intersection where the path branches off to the right, while the left goes over Dolov to the lake. We will choose the right one, which is more attractive. From the peaks in the area, there is a fantastic view of 5 glacial lakes and the Biogradska gora National Park. After the mountain peaks, we descend through the rainforest of the Biogradska gora park, followed by a 1-hour bike tour of the lake, and you can take advantage of the opportunity to swim in the lake, rent boats, and the like.

Then we return to Kolašin.
