Bjelasica trail

"Bjelasica Ultra Trail" is a sports event (mountain marathon) that is intended for professional and recreational runners, but also for lovers of being in nature. The organizers have prepared three races for the participants that pass through one of the most beautiful areas in the Balkans. Trail is an activity that combines running and, where there are steep slopes, hiking.

By participating in the trail, competitors will have the opportunity to run through one of the three remaining rainforests in Europe, to admire the beauty of mountain lakes, but also to take a break in one of the traditional Bjelasica katuns..

 Bjelasica The ultra trail takes place on the first weekend in August, with the following races:

  • Three Lakes – 45 km
  • Little bear – 21 km
  • Family trail – 10 km
  • Children's race – 250 m

Bjelasica is an ideal choice for an active vacation for the whole family, experienced runners, beginners, lovers of fairy-tale forest and mountain trails. Located in the very heart of Montenegro, in the central-continental part, at over 2,000 m above sea level, it connects several Montenegrin municipalities. Bjelasica it is decorated with several specific features: very easy walking, accessibility to the highest mountain peaks and a great wealth of forest stock and running water. It is of Vuklan origin, green and fresh in August, white in January.
