Rising on the western side of Kolasin, Vucje mountain offers a remarkable contrast between the wild and calm sides. Belonging to the massifs of Umovi and Torna, Vucje acts as a natural extension of these ridges towards the picturesque Kolasin basin.

A landscape of contrasts

Mountaineers and adventurers will be attracted to the southern and eastern slopes of the mountain. Here, jagged rocks create a terrifying and visually striking landscape. These cliffs offer a breathtaking view to those who reach the top, overlooking the charming villages of Poljane, Ociba, Pcinja, Circi and Moracka Bistrica below.

A different perspective awaits

Head to the west side of Vucje and you'll encounter a contrasting scene. Facing Umovi and Torna, this side of the mountain is enveloped in green forest, offering a gentler and more peaceful experience. Below these slopes is the Donje Vucje katun, a traditional Montenegrin settlement with two separate parts: Ravanjski katun and Barski katun.
