Misko – Cheese Farm

The house owned by Milijanka and Miško Puletić is over a hundred years old. The morning view of the Torn and other Moračka mountains – powerful, proud, seemingly inaccessible (yet so close) – you will experience as a life's reward. Wooden floors, woolly hand-woven blankets – these are just some of the details that will make your stay in the Puletić home cosy and warm. Breakfast is another story. Homemade bread from a wood-fired oven, layered cheese, sour cream, Montenegrin doughnuts, polenta, food cooked in an amber-covered metal bell over an open fire, or trout from their own fishpond – these are all specialities.

Taste Miško's rakija with gentian root, the juice that Milijanka makes, or the tea. You can have a barbecue yourself or help the hosts gather hay or milk the animals. At Puletići there are cows, sheep, goats, pigs, chickens, beehives, an orchard and a vegetable garden – there's always something to do.
