Karate tournament

The Gorštak Karate Club traditionally organizes the "Kolašin Champion" karate tournament, which is one of the biggest sporting events in Kolašin. 

The tournament is a good indicator that Gorštak is an organized sports collective, both in the competitive part and in the organization of such and similar sports events.

The tournament takes place in September and is a showcase of the best and most talented young karatekas from Montenegro and the countries of the region. The tournament is also supported by the municipality of Kolašin. 

It brings together more than 400 karatekas, who will compete in the categories of beginners, pioneers, cadets, juniors and younger seniors, in kata and fights, individually and as a team.

For years, Kolašin karatekas have achieved very notable results and have won a large number of gold and silver medals.
